Your photos stay yours.

EditAll is designed to process photos and videos on your device. This policy explains what the app accesses, where information is stored, and the choices available to you.

Who provides EditAll

EditAll provides the EditAll application for supported Apple devices. Questions about this policy or requests concerning your information can be sent to [email protected].

Information EditAll accesses

Depending on the features you choose and the permissions you grant, EditAll may access:

  • Photos and videos in your Apple Photo Library, including items downloaded through iCloud Photos by Apple's system frameworks.
  • Camera and microphone input when you capture photos or record videos.
  • User-selected files or folders when a supported platform allows you to browse or edit media outside the Photo Library.
  • App preferences and creative settings, such as selected presets, custom presets, border settings, display preferences, and export settings.
  • Faces in your photos, only if you turn on People. EditAll then finds faces in your Photo Library and groups photos that show the same person. This happens on your device.
  • What your photos show, so search and Memories can use it. EditAll classifies photos on your device with Apple's built-in image classifier (for example beach, dinner, or hiking) and stores the resulting labels in an on-device search index.
  • Notifications, only if you turn on Memories reminders. Reminders are scheduled on your device from your own library; no notification content is sent to EditAll or any server.
  • Purchase information, including an anonymous app user identifier and App Store purchase-entitlement status, when you view, buy, manage, or restore EditAll Pro.

You choose whether to grant Photo Library, camera, microphone, or notification access. EditAll cannot access those resources when the relevant permission has not been granted.

How information is used

EditAll uses the media and settings you provide to display your library, generate previews, analyze photos for app features such as search, Memories, and People, apply presets and adjustments, capture media, create exports, and prepare items you choose to share. Photo analysis and image or video processing are performed on your device.

People. People is off until you turn it on. When it is on, EditAll finds the faces in your photos and computes a numeric description of each one, using a model stored in the app, so it can group photos of the same person. The descriptions are used only to group your own photos on your device. EditAll does not compare them with any outside source, and the only names attached to a group are the names you type.

Search and Memories content. To let you search by what photos show and to build Memories from outings, things, and named people, EditAll classifies each photo on your device with Apple's built-in image classifier and keeps the resulting labels in an on-device search index. Named people appear in Memories only after you name them. Labels are used only for search and Memories on your device and are never uploaded, synced, or sent to analytics or any third-party service.

Storage and retention

Preferences and custom presets are stored locally on your device. So are your Memories choices, such as dismissed memories, hidden photos, and renamed titles, and the small summary and cover image the On This Day widget shows. EditAll may create local caches and temporary import or export files so previews, editing, and sharing work efficiently. Temporary workflow files are removed after they are consumed when possible, may be replaced as the app operates, and can also be removed by the operating system. Removing the app deletes its locally stored app data, subject to normal Apple platform behavior.

People's face data is stored only on your device: where each face appears in a photo, its numeric description, the groups, and the names you add. It is excluded from iCloud and device backups, is not synced between devices, and is never sent to EditAll or to any analytics, purchase, or other third-party service. Faces and the names you add are masked in interface recordings. Turning People off in EditAll's settings deletes all face data from the device, including names, and so does removing the app.

EditAll does not upload your photo library: photo libraries and all photo or video processing remain on your device. The optional Lightroom preset converter is a separate web service. If you use it, the XMP or lrtemplate preset files you select are uploaded to EditAll's server and retained indefinitely so we can review mappings and improve conversion. The service stores the preset contents, source filename, file size, content hash, source format, conversion results, warning property names, and ingestion time. It does not receive photos, create an account association, or require an EditAll account.

Converter files and conversion artifacts are kept in private service storage indefinitely. To request deletion of an uploaded preset, its generated files, or associated metadata, email [email protected] with the source filename or batch ID. We will verify the request and remove the requested records where reasonably possible, subject to security or legal requirements.

iCloud Photos and Apple services

If an item is stored in iCloud Photos, Apple's frameworks may download it to your device so EditAll can display or process it. That transfer is provided by Apple and is governed by your Apple account settings and Apple's privacy terms. EditAll does not receive your Apple account credentials.

To show place names in search and Memories, EditAll may send a photo's location coordinates to Apple's geocoding service, which returns a place name such as a city. Only coordinates are sent, never the photo itself, and the request is governed by Apple's privacy terms.

Sharing and third parties

EditAll shares a photo, video, or file only when you initiate an export or sharing action. The destination you select—such as Messages, Mail, a social app, or a storage provider—receives the item under its own terms and privacy policy.

EditAll uses RevenueCat to display its paywall and maintain EditAll Pro purchase-entitlement status. RevenueCat processes an anonymous App User ID and Apple purchase-entitlement data. EditAll has no account system and does not send RevenueCat your name, email address, photos, or videos. RevenueCat handles this information under its own privacy policy.

The EditAll iOS app does not include third-party advertising, cross-app tracking, or a developer-operated account service. It uses PostHog's EU service, through EditAll's analytics proxy at t.editall.app, for product analytics, crash diagnostics, and sampled, masked interface recordings. PostHog receives a random installation identifier, app and device details, screen and feature events, built-in preset names, fixed adjustment-category identifiers, rounded creative-adjustment values on completed save, copy, share, camera-capture, and preset-save actions, export and sharing counts, and crash stack data. Events and an installation profile are linked using this random identifier; no EditAll account is required.

Masked interface recordings. A sample of app sessions may be recorded to help diagnose interface problems. Images, text inputs, and custom photo and video views are masked in recordings. Network telemetry and console log capture are disabled. EditAll does not send photo or video content, file names, custom preset names, contact details, or Apple account information to PostHog. EditAll does not sell personal information.

Website analytics. The editall.app website uses PostHog and may use Google Analytics to measure page visits, feature interactions, download clicks, device and browser type, and browser errors. PostHog may also record a sample of website visits as session replays, which show how the pages looked and how a visitor scrolled, clicked, and moved through them. Anything typed into a field is masked, the preset converter is left out of recordings, and console logs and network requests are not recorded. PostHog stores a pseudonymous browser identifier in local storage and a cookie so visits and a browser profile can be grouped under that identifier. The website does not send uploaded preset contents or file names to either analytics service. PostHog processes EditAll analytics in its EU service, while Google processes its data under Google's terms.

Support messages

If you contact support, the message may include your email address and any information or attachments you choose to provide. Support messages are used to respond to your request, troubleshoot issues, protect the service, and meet legal obligations. They are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes. Do not send photos or sensitive information unless it is needed for your request.

Your choices and deletion

  • Change or revoke Photo Library, camera, and microphone permissions in the Settings app on your device.
  • Turn People off in EditAll's settings to delete all face data and the names you added. You can also leave People off; nothing is analyzed for faces until you turn it on.
  • Delete custom presets and exported files using the controls provided by EditAll or the destination where the files were saved.
  • Delete local EditAll app data by removing the app from your device.
  • Use browser privacy controls or content blocking to limit website analytics storage and requests.
  • Ask for deletion of a converter upload, generated artifact, or stored metadata by emailing [email protected] with the source filename or batch ID. Some records may be retained where reasonably necessary for security or legal compliance.

Children's privacy

EditAll is not designed to collect personal information from children through accounts, advertising, or tracking. Parents and guardians control device permissions and should supervise sharing from the device where appropriate.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when EditAll's features or data practices change. The effective date above will be revised when a material update is published.
